Build-A-Bear is bringing back the 'Pay Your Age' deal — but there are some limits

Is your kid looking for a new furry friend? Build-A-Bear Workshop is bringing back the “pay your age” deal — but you can’t just show up this year.

After high demand and some chaos last year, Build-A-Bear is limiting the deal to more than 200,000 tickets (which is still a lot). To possibly get in on the deal, you’ll need to become a Bonus Club member (if you aren’t already), complete a new birthday profile and then enter for your chance to win a ticket.

Those who get a ticket to the pay your age event can go to any participating location during one of two redemption periods from June 24 through June 28. There, you’ll be able to create one furry friend per child, with a limit of two per ticket. Got a 1-year-old child? Congrats, the bear is only $1.

Ten people will also win a birthday party package valued up to $250 to be used anytime within the next year.

Winners will be notified by June 21. You can enter the sweepstakes on the Build-A-Bear Workshop website.
