Cirque de la Symphonie

Following wildly popular performances in 2014 and 2015, the Boston Pops is delighted to bring back Cirque de la Symphonie’s magical fusion of circus with live orchestral music, June 2-3 (pictured at top). Aerial flyers, acrobats, contortionists, dancers, jugglers, balancers, and strongmen are among the talented artists who will take the stage as the Boston Pops perform their own spectacular musical feats. Critics say Cirque de la Symphonie will “mesmerize adults and children,” with “a breathtaking display of agility and incomparable beauty.” These concerts will also feature some of the unforgettable film music of Boston Pops Conductor Laureate John Williams as part of a season-long tribute to the composer’s body of work. The 3 p.m. concert on Saturday, June 3, offers 50% off tickets for children ages 17 and younger. Other performances: Friday, June 2, 8 p.m., Saturday, June 3, 8 p.m.
