Visitors can enjoy the museum with free admission on the first Friday night of each month, October through June.

The Discovery Museum in Acton is bringing back their popular First Friday Nights Free program beginning in October. Visitors can enjoy the museum with free admission from 4:30-7:30 p.m. on the first Friday night of each month, October through June. Advanced reservations will be required to visit the campus.

Because the museum is closed for construction through Oct. 5, October's free admission night will be held Oct. 8.

Though not required for admission, visitors are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food donation, to be distributed to the Acton Food Pantry and Open Table.

Discovery Museum continues to operate with COVID safety protocols in place, including requiring advance reservations to visit and requiring masks be worn indoors for all visitors ages two and up; masks are encouraged but not required outdoors.
