Land's Sake Farm in Weston is kicking off the growing season with a day-long family-friendly celebration, Saturday, June 1, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Get a taste of what’s in store this growing season with early vegetables, food tastings, live music, and activities.

Families can visit the Education Garden to explore all the vegetables, flowers, and herbs that have been growing in the farm's spring education programs. Kids can enjoy garden activities, play areas, crafts, fiber art demonstrations, face painting, and, of course, the chance to hang out with farm animals (including baby goats!).

The farm stand, selling early spring veggies like leafy greens, radishes or turnips, will be open until 4 p.m. Also available is maple syrup, local raw honey, granola, salsas, specialty fruit jams, spices & cookies, all locally sourced from New England farms and kitchens.
