Thirty Massachusetts museums will open their doors for free on Saturday, Sept. 23, thanks to Smithsonian magazine and its 13th annual Museum Day Live. For one day only, participating museums across the United States will offer free admission to those who download a Museum Day Live ticket.

To get your ticket, visit smithsonian.com/museumdaylive. Each ticket grants the ticket holder and a guest free access to participating museums. The limit is one ticket per household, per email address.

Museums in all 50 states have signed up to participate in this year’s event, and more than 1,300 museums are expected to join in.The complete list of participating museums can be found here.
