Tom Brady’s Recovered Super Bowl Jersey on Display The Hall at Patriot Place
Earlier this week, Patriots Chairman and CEO Robert Kraft presented Tom Brady with the jerseys he wore in Super Bowl XLIX and Super Bowl LI. Both jerseys had been stolen and recently retrieved by the FBI and returned to Robert Kraft at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough last month.
Starting this weekend, fans visiting The Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon will now be able to view one of those jerseys, as Brady’s grass-stained Super Bowl XLIX jersey will be on display starting Saturday.
Other game-used artifacts from Super Bowl XLIX (when The Pats beat the Seahawks 28-24) and Super Bowl LI (where they defeated The Falcons) currently on display at The Hall include:
Malcolm Butler Super Bowl XLIX Ball, Helmet, Gloves, and Cleats
The helmet, gloves and cleats Malcolm Butler wore to make one of the greatest defensive plays in Super Bowl history — a game-clinching interception of Seahawks’ quarterback Russell Wilson at the Patriots 1-yard line with 20 seconds remaining – are on display, along with the football he intercepted. Fans are able to get in the game and reenact Butler’s heroics through Kinect technology. The exhibit, located inside the Super Bowl Experience, senses the guest’s movement and when it’s time to intercept the pass, a camera snaps a photo of the guest completing Butler’s play. The photo is then electronically turned into the cover of a Patriots Football Weekly newspaper and can be shared via email with the guest.
