Sweet 116! The Springfield Museums is planning an epic bash to celebrate the upcoming birthday of Dr. Seuss. 

The Dr. Seuss Birthday Celebration is set for Saturday, March 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will feature birthday cake tasting, puppet shows and sing-a-longs, literacy-based activities, and art and science activities.

Costume Seuss favorites including The Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 and Thing 2, the Grinch and the Lorax will be on hand for meet-and-greets and photos. 

All activities are free with museum admission. Timed tickets for the Dr. Seuss Museum are expected to sell out fast. Visitors can order advance tickets online at www.SpringfieldMuseums.org.
