10 fun Fridays at 100 Bay State venues
Free Fun Fridays are back this summer to give your wallet a break.
For the 11th year, Highland Street Foundation is sponsoring weekly summer family family, at no cost. From June 28 to August 30, there will be an array of museums, parks, zoos and cultural centers opening their doors each Friday for free.
Peruse gardens and sculptures in the Berkshires, step back in time with a visit to Old Sturbridge Village or Plimoth Plantation, or get up close to sharks and whales on Cape Cod. One hundred venues, stretching from one end of the Bay State to the other, are participating in this year’s program.
Free Fun Fridays are open to all -- not just Massachusetts residents -- and in most cases there is no need to preregister. Just show up, and have fun!
