This is definitely the cheesiest way to reveal your baby's gender.
You've seen cakes, balloons and silly string. When it comes to announcing the gender of a new baby, parents-to-be keep going bigger and bolder.
Thought you'd seen it all? Think again.
Villa Italian Kitchen, a chain that has over 300 restaurants across the U.S., is now selling lasagnas with a "secret interior" -- pink or blue cheese.
The Gender Reveal Lasagna is made-to-order with a classic Italian Alfredo sauce, creamy ricotta cheese and melty mozzarella. Parents cut into the lasagna to reveal either pink or blue dyed cheese.
“Creating the Gender Reveal Lasagna was so much fun,” said Stephanie Beamer, Division Vice President of Franchise and Catering, Villa Restaurant Group. “We think of our guests like family, and wanted to find a way to celebrate such a momentous occasion with them. We can’t wait to see all the videos of guests revealing their babies’ genders to family and friends in such a unique way.”
The lasagna is part of a catering package that features one cheese lasagna, a tray garlic rolls and a choice of either a garden, Caesar or Greek salad. It serves 12 for $139.
