WEST BOYLSTON - The last session of Laugh Learn Lifelong Learning fall semester, hosted by the West Boylston Senior Center, is "Reflections of a Career in Journalism," with Dianne Williamson. The event is Thursday, Nov. 14, at 7 p.m.

Williamson is a Worcester native.  She joined the Telegram as an office clerk 35 years ago.  She served as a police reporter and general assignment reporter before becoming a columnist in 1992. She won several first-place writing awards for both humor and hard news from the New England Press Association. She will discuss the challenges and joys of penning three columns a week for over 20 years, and the changes in the newspaper industry since then. A question-and-answer session will follow her presentation.

For information and to register, call the Senior Center at (508) 835-6916. Cost is $5 per person at the door.
