Miss Itto Outini, Fulbirght Scholar, Journalism, The University of Arkansas. “A rough patch in my life and an impetus to move forward,” this is how Miss. Itto Outini casually reflects on growing up in Morocco as a homeless, BLIND, illiterate 17 year old female. In her talks, Miss. Outini often explains that all these factors have shaped her personality and contributed to the path she’s now on as an accomplished Fulbright scholar. Her passion for Journalism and Human Rights have led her to the University of Arkansas where she is pursuing a graduate degree in Journalism to become a compassionate journalist who promotes change and holds governments accountable. This presentation is sponsored by: WPI Humanities & Arts Dept., Muslim Students Association, Morocco Center Project, Model United Nations, Glocal Impacts, and Greek Diversification and Inclusivity Committee.
