Meeting the Cover Model
Q & A with Allie Cottrill, photographer of this month’s cover model, Nancy Kerrigan OF LYNNFIELD
What was it like meeting Nancy
Kerrigan?
She was super! She was warm and made me feel comfortable in her home. What stood out was that Nancy was incredibly loving and attentive to her little kids without being sugary. She’s not prissy with her kids. She’s like, “Come on guys, get your boots on!” Full Story

G rowing up I always hated tea, but I loved sitting all my stuffed animals in a circle, and serving each fuzzy guest with my own miniature tea set. I was Queen of England, and my Puffalumps and teddy bears were the privileged “in” crowd. As fun as those tea parties were, actually drinking the stuff was impossible. Full Story

UNDER MY ROOF
I don’t "heart" Valentine’s Day
My grandmother hated Mother’s Day. When we were very young, my sisters and I would show up at her door with some handmade baubles and she would graciously accept them, but later she would rant to my mother that the occasion was simply “a racket” concocted by advertising executives to push candy, flowers and greeting cards featuring that wisecracking old lady in sunglasses.
