GUESTBOOK
Dear baystateparent,
Thank you so much for the tickets to Foothills! What a treat it will be for my three older children during vacation week. I love baystateparent, and my kids could tell you how thrilled I was! I can no longer say "I never win anything." You know how children love to correct their parents and have wonderful memories when it comes to doing so… Thank you so much!

Dear baystateparent,
I was impressed by baystateparent's size, contents and layout, and very moved by the article on the Capaldi family and their loss of their baby Bella (February 2009). What impressed me strongly was their resolve in turning their loss to help other families struck by tragedy. The Valentine ball they sponsor each year to honor baby Bella was a brilliant idea and appears very successful. What a wonderful couple!
I enjoyed the photos of the 10 Hot Shot finalists, especially. The ten finalists all are cuties. It will be a difficult decision to choose the winning cover model (but lots of fun too). I shared the February issue with my friends who all felt we need a baystateparent magazine down here in PA.

Dear baystateparent,
I loved the article "Sweet Deals" (February 2009/Kristin Wattu), but it mentioned a St. Vincent DePaul thrift shop in Walpole, and I cannot find any phone or address listing for such a store. Could you please check? Many Thanks,
Gayle Flaherty, Arlington
Editor's Note: The St. Vincent DePaul mentioned in the article is in Plainville, MA. Hope you find some great bargains!
Dear baystateparent,
Thank you for the absolutely wonderful article about Bella's Ball [Feb. 14, 2009] that was in your February 2009 issue. Like the both of you [Carrie Wattu, editor, and Paula Ethier, creative director], Kim and I feel that there was something bigger than all of us at work……..something that brought us all together. We were particularly touched by Paula's description of our family during our "chance" encounter at the Picadilly Pub. Additionally, Carrie's account of our struggle was wonderfully and succinctly recounted. As a result, we have had several phone calls from your readers interested in purchasing tickets. This is particularly helpful in a year where there is uncertainty surrounding the stability of the financial markets and folks are thinking twice about how they spend their hard-earned Benjamins. The beautiful American Girl Bitty baby that you so generously donated helps ensure the success of Bella's Ball and enables Why Me & Sherry's House to continue their work offering help and support to families affected by childhood cancer.
Wishing you Health and Happiness in 2009.
