July 15: Introduction to Intercounty Adoption: 7 - 9 p.m. Intercountry adoption process and laws; selecting adoption service providers; general characteristics and needs of children awaiting adoption; in country conditions leading to intercountry adoption; potential risk factors; and an explanation of reporting requirements. $35pp.
July 23: Adopted Persons Meet for Discussion: 7:15 - 9:15 p.m. Informal discussion with other adoptees.
July 24: A Look at Adoption: 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. An unbiased intro to all aspects of adoption.
July 24: Adoption Triad Group: 7 - 9 p.m. Meet with other adult members of the adoption triad who are not in your immediate triad. Come share your experience and receive support as an adoptive parent, adoptee, birth mother, birth father or other family member.

Korean Adoption Circle Playgroup Summer Hours: For families who have adopted from Korea. Korean Presbyterian Church, 2 Main St., Hopkinton. 10 a.m. - noon. July 19: Jordan's Summer Adoption Mixer (for homestudied families only). Assumption College, 500 Salisbury St., Worcester. 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Meet waiting children ages 6+ and their social workers in a casual, relaxed atmosphere. Adoption workshops, food and entertainment will fill this day of mixing and mingling. No walk-ins. Pre-register.
Ongoing: Heart Gallery: A striking collection of portraits of adoptable children, ages 4 - 16, waiting for at least a year for a home in the Commonwealth's foster care system. This portrait tour was organized by the Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange, Inc. (MARE) to raise awareness about adoption from foster care and to recruit families for the hundreds of children in state care awaiting adoption. July 28 -August 25, Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester; August 25- Sept. 22 - Burlington Mall, Burlington; Nov. 10 -Nov. 24 - South Station, Boston.
