These refugee minors have been welcomed into our country. Separated from their parents and guardians, they are in need of safe homes. A stipend is provided for foster parents, and youth receive medical and dental insurance.

March 5: The Heart Gallery 2008 Opening Reception. Nurses Hall, The State House, Boston. 3 - 5:30 p.m. The Heart Gallery is a portrait exhibit to raise awareness about Massachusetts children available. A program of speakers at 4 p.m. includes a child from last year's Heart Gallery and his adoptive parent. The exhibit will be in Doric Hall at the State House from March 3 - 7 and will then travel to various locations in Massachusetts through the end on 2008.
