Event Description

2,3, or 4-wheels…ALL children, ages 3-13 are encouraged to join in on this year’s Shrewsbury Kids Ride. Tykes on tricycles can play on short, safe obstacle courses with lots of interaction and cheering (even if they are just learning). Older kids can complete loops on our ½ mile course until they tire. After the ride, everyone will enjoy music, games, face painting, character appearances and food. Every PMC Kids Ride provides a good time and empowers kids to DO something to fight cancer. Every rider raised dollar goes directly to the Jimmy Fund at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Please join us in Shrewsbury for this year’s ride! Boston Marathon Tragedy Poll

Did you talk to your children about the Boston Marathon tragedy?

  • Yes. I was worried they would hear about it and be scared, so I kept it short and answered their questions.
  • No. I'm still trying to understand what happened and I don't want my kids to be overwhelmed or frigtened.
